NOCTI exam review: Performance Assessment

Performance Assessment:
You will be asked to complete three jobs: Audio-Video editing, Videography, Engineering and Troubleshooting
Audio-Video editing:
You will be given video to download on your computer and asked to edit a scene. You will also be asked to select appropriate music.
Cannot have jump cuts….use transitions between edits.
You will need to use a 10-second slate at the beginning of the video.

Videography:
Using provided material prepare a video demonstrating the following:
30 seconds of bars
10 seconds black
10 seconds slate (including project name, your name, school, and date)
10 seconds black
Shoot a video that each of the following techniques: (10 – 15 seconds of each)

Zoom
Dolly
Truck
Extreme Close-up
Medium Shot
Wide Shot
Extreme Wide shot
